Dartmouth North Branch Library
Thursday, January 8, 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, January 8, 6:30 p.m.
Join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Thursday, January 8, at 6:30 p.m. to
hear Laura Gardner, Teacher Librarian at Dartmouth Middle School, discuss how screen time
impacts kid/teen brains and health. The typical teen spends 7-9 hours a day looking at screens,
drawn in by addictive algorithms, influencers, peers, and more. Ms. Gardner will share research on
the current landscape of teens and screens and offer smart usage strategies that can benefit children
and adults.
Ms. Gardner’s presentation will be held at Dartmouth North Branch Library, an accessible facility,
which is located at 211 Cross Road, Dartmouth. For more information, please e-mail
