CVAH is an annual fee-based program for individuals or couples over age 50.
CVAH is a program of the Keene Senior Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Keene, NH.
Cheshire Village at Home offers older adults an affordable option for staying in their own homes when transportation and certain household tasks become difficult. CVAH is for those who wish to remain independent and socially connected to their communities.
CVAH is a membership organization for people over 50, providing you with a single point of access to a network of trained volunteers. Services include rides to medical appointments or errands, help at home, social visits, and wellness calls among others. We also hold free, monthly social events such as coffees, ice cream socials, and presentations by local experts.
Services are provided by a network of caring, trusted volunteers. We are not a care-giving facility nor a retirement community.
Please note that when the Keene Senior Center is closed for weather, CVAH is closed as well.
Becoming a Member
Our membership process is:
1) submit your application(s);
2) we will contact you and arrange a Home Visit;
3) you will be notified when your application is approved and can then begin using our service.
