FRIENDS OF THE DARTMOUTH LIBRARIES hosts
Fabric & Fiber Sale
Saturday, March 14, 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Dartmouth – Join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Saturday, March 14, from 9:30
a.m.-4:00 p.m. for a Fabric & Fiber Sale at Southworth Library. This is an innovative program that will offer shoppers an opportunity to stock up on fabric, yarn, and supplies used in sewing, knitting, and crocheting. People looking for a bargain will be able to choose from an array of curated materials that have been donated by community members.
Anyone interested in contributing unused fabric and yarn to the sale can drop off donations in the
containers located on the lower level of the Southworth Library from February 1 through March
7.
Proceeds from the sale will help the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries continue their support for
the libraries’ varied programs and services. Donating also will keep items out of the waste stream
and in the hands of eager sewers and knitters.
The Fabric and Fiber Sale will be held at Southworth Library, an accessible facility, which is
located at 732 Dartmouth Street, South Dartmouth. For more information, please contact Sandra
Zekan at szekan@comcast.net.
